Whimsical Weddings ♥

As Summer approaches, so does the time for many brides to plan (or have) their weddings. I love weddings and all of the fun things you can do with them. It's your biggest party, it's all about you and that one person standing beside you and it's a perfect time to be yourself.

There are so many beautiful and whimsical things you can do on this special day and I've found a few little treats to get those creative juices flowing.

Invitations are the first piece of your wedding that guests will see, why not make them a little extra special? You don't have to spend a ton of money, you can even do them yourself, but make sure they reflect your wedding and your style. Whimsical Carnival style wedding? Why not send out sweet ticket shaped invites (as seen below) to give people their first glimpse? A destination wedding and you both love to travel? Why not send invites along with a vintage style map of your location and luggage tags?

Bridal Shower invites (above). I love the funky colors and the sweet little birds.

Very unique invite (found on Etsy). I love the different colors and the different fonts all blended together.

Lovely ornate blue and brown invites.

So cute Ticket shaped invites. Don't you want to go to this wedding? So much fun! (found on Etsy)

These colors are so beautiful all together, as well as the unique shape of invite and the RSVP card. These are gorgeous!!

Your wedding is a reflection of you, so whether you love carnivals and gypsy themed parties with bright and bold colors, or prefer a small elegant affair with Sinatra floating in the air, make sure that the day is all about you and your mate.

(Above)Carnival style wedding. So colorful and cute. You can't help but smile.

(Above and Below) Bright and Muted colors mixed together with miss-matched pieces create a very whimsical celebration.

(Above) Pink Lemonade. This wedding is so fun yet so chic. Mixing cosmos with cotton candy? Doesn't get better than that. :)
