DIY WITH CHALKBOARD PAINT

Chalkboard paint is all the rage right now, and rightfully so. The options are endless when using it. You can either buy the actual paint, or you can try the spray paint, and yes, you can basically paint whatever your heart desires with this stuff.

Whether you want to paint a whole wall, or just make little labels for jars...this stuff is amazing. Here are some of my favorite ideas. I can't wait to try some of them myself. :) I already have the supplies at home, now I just need to find the time. I feel like telling myself "good luck with that one". :p

Paint a whole wall to display art created by the family, play games or make a grocery list on.

Paint the inside of open cabinetry to give it some depth and add pops of color to the forefront, to keep it playful.

Create a unique headboard with paint and decals.

How cute are these milk bottles? What a fun idea for a kids party.

Paint an old chest of drawers and use it as a catch all for items around the house. Or use it in your dining room to hold extra plates and utensils.

Great idea to label all of your different herbs. Set these in your window sill and watch them grow.

I love the idea of painting the inside of a beautiful picture frame or vintage mirror.

A lovely idea for a weekly menu.

Have you used chalk board paint for anything around your house? I'd love to hear what you did.
